On-Campus

The Commons
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Daily specials. Expensive for the amount of food you receive.

Student Union Food Court (Inside the Santos Manual Building)

Pizza Hut Express
Pan pizza, bread sticks and cinnimon sticks.

KFC Express
Extremely limited menu. Chicken strips, and 3 piece chicken pieces, wedge fries.

The Blue Coyote
$6 hamburgers and little else.

Starbucks Coffee
Beware of their loud music, especially in the morning.

Upstairs in the Santos Manual Building:

Taco Bell Express
Limited menu. Hint: Soft drinks are expensive in the food court. They are much cheaper at the Taco Bell upstairs, and you can get free refills. But this shop is located in our campus pub area, so it is ofen crowded with students during the lunch hour.

Elsewhere on Campus

The Coyote Express
Snack shops located in the Santos Manual Building, a trailer to the west of the SBS building, and the 2nd floor of Jack Brown Hall. These sell the standard pre-packaged sandwiches and chips, as well as a variety of snacks.

The Bookstore
Candy, snacks and soft drinks.

In addition, vending machines are located in most major buildings.

Off-Campus (Within walking distance)

Farmer Boys
766 Kendall Drive - (909)-473-1717
Lots of food, clean, and a good place to go if you are very hungry. Located just west of University and Kendall - An easy walk from the campus, but there are sidewalks only on the east side of University Parkway. Downside: Can be noisy when crowded.

Red Brick Pizza

Located in the shopping center just North of Farmer Boys. Good, but expect to pay $12 for your lunch.

Quizno's

Located next to Red Brick Pizza. Expensive. Most people prefer Subways.

El Pollo Loco
1695 Kendall Drive
Southeast corner, University and Kendall. Good fast food, reasonably priced, and there is a Dairy Queen inside.

Paco's Tacos
Located in the small shopping center behind El Pollo Loco. Inexpensive and quick, food is average, but can be greasy.

Thai Place

In the shopping center behind El Pollo Loco, University and Kendall.
The Thai Place serves very good Thai food in a small setting. Inexpensive lunches and inexpensive to moderate dinners are served. Downside: Small dining area.

If You Want to Drive (Not within walking distance)

Carl's Jr., KFC and Del Taco
All located south on University, in the Ralphs shopping plaza (Right side, about a mile away).
Standard fast food fare.

Togos Subs

University south, turn left at the light just past the Ralphs grocery store. It will be on your immediate right, in the mini-mall.
Togos has very good subs, and also a Baskin Robbins, but expect to pay $8 for lunch.

McDonalds
4155 University Parkway
South on University, turn left when you see it, shortly before the freeway.
Not recommended. Many people report problems with the food quality.

IHOP

Difficult to get to. The last building on your left as you reach University and the freeway. Turn left at the median cut-out before the freeway, make a right into the gas station, and drive south as far as possible.

South of the Freeway (Also not within walking distance)

Subways - Located inside the Wal-Mart, on University, head south, under the freeway, and turn right at the first stoplight.

Zendejas

Very good Mexican food, located on University, just south of the freeway, turn left at the first stoplight.

Taco Bell - On University, head south, under the freeway, and turn left at the first stoplight. Located across the street from Zendejas.

Dennys - Take University south to Kendall, and turn right. Stay on Kendall until you reach Palm (4 miles) and turn left. Dennys will be on your left-hand side, about two blocks south of the freeway.

Mi Cocina

Great Mexican food. Take University south to Kendall, turn right, and it will be on your left, just before Palm Ave.

Jersey's Pizza

More campus employees head to Jersey's at lunch than anywhere else. Take University south to Kendall, and turn left. Stay on Kendall about 5 miles, until you see the Stater Brothers market on your right side. Jerseys is located at the extreme west end of this shopping center. A slice of pizza and a large drink is only $2.50 between 11 am and 2 pm.

ATM

The only ATM on campus is located in the Santos Manual Building, near the food court. The ATM is owned by Arrowhead Credit Union.
